This is a thicker version of our Open Circle Charm. The added thickness allows us to stamp on the front and the back of the charm. The price of this items includes stamping on the front and the back.

If you use any of the following symbols, we will use a centered dot by default: * (asterisk) . (period) - (dash) /(slash). So 10/10/2010 will come out 10.10.2010. (but the dots will be centered vertically).

We also have a heart symbol. If you want to order it, please use the "$" sign where you would like the heart to appear. You may also mention that you want a heart in the 'additional comments' box.
We can make a dash or comma out of our small font letter 'I' but in most cases we feel a dot looks better.
Letters are only available in uppercase.
*DOTS - We highly recommend that you use dots to separate your names or single words, and at the beginning of a phrase, especially if you are using up most of the space. The dots give the names a nice visual separation. Please enter an asterisk ' * ' where you would like a dot to appear. Dots will be centered horizontally and vertically. Your charm will automatically come with dots for the layouts that show dots.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT DOTS ON LAYOUTS 1 THROUGH 5, PLEASE MENTION THIS IN ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.
Your personalization will be spaced in an even, balanced way, regardless of the length of the lettering. If you want the spacing spread out to fill the space or tight with little space between the letters, please let us know in additional comments or we will do it the way we feel looks best.
FOR LAYOUTS 1 & 2, enter your customization as though it was clockwise starting from the middle left, or 9 o'clock if you were looking at a clock. *DOTS: We strongly recommend using dots between two or more names or words. Not only do we think it looks nice, the dots visually separate the names or words. This is particularly important when using long names or words.
FOR LAYOUTS 3 & 4, enter your customization as though it was clockwise from the top. If you would like a dot at the top, start with an asterisk ' * ', then enter your first name or word. *DOTS: We strongly recommend using dots at the beginning of a phrase, at the very top (or 12 O' Clock), particularly if there are lots of letters in your phrase, because they will be placed closer together. The dot visually indicates the beginning and end of a phrase. You do not need to enter a dot at the beginning AND at the end of your phrase, just enter it as the first character and we'll enter it at the very top, the words will go around clockwise, and end at the same dot. So, if you want to enter a phrase with a single dot at the top, you would enter it like this: " * FOLLOW YOUR HEART ".
Please select the layout you would like from our options. If you don't see a layout that is suitable, choose 'other' and enter any specific instructions in the additional comments box. You may also use this box for any other comments that you have. Using the points on a clock is a helpful way to describe your layout.
- ABOUT OUR JEWELRY:
- All of our pieces are hand stamped by humans! Every letter is placed as precisely as possible, but there will be some slight variations in the lettering, we like to say that you can see ‘the artist’s hand” in each piece we make. This is what gives our line so much personality. If you are looking for machine like precision, you will not find it here, so please be aware of this when ordering, as there are no returns or exchanges on customized pieces for aesthetic reasons.
- All of our sterling silver pieces are priced according to weight and labor. Thicker pieces cost more, thinner pieces cost less. They vary in thickness between 0.5mm & 2.5mm. Our pieces have evolved over time, some have been in our line since we started! So, there is a bit of variation in all of our hand made charms. Measurements are metric and Length includes the solid ring at the top, and width is measured at the widest part.
- All of our customized jewelry is stamped and then smoothed out by sanding and filing and polishing. We then blacken them and finally give the piece a satin or matte finish. This finish brings out the detail of the words in the best way. All of the rest of our silver jewelry is also finished in this way. This is part of our signature look. We can make things shiny, by special request, but we think the matte finish on silver is the way our jewelry looks best.
ORDERING MORE THAN ONE ITEM:
If you are ordering more than one necklace or bracelet, please use the 'Additional Comments' box to let us know which chain or bracelet you would like it to go on. For example, you could name your first item "Necklace 1" and for each chain, charm, bead, etc. that goes on "Necklace 1", simply type "Necklace 1" in each item's 'Additional Comments' box.
ADDING ITEMS IN A PARTICULAR ORDER:
If you want the charms to show up in a particular order, you can also enter that in 'Additonal Comments'. However, we will always do the best layout for you, so this is unnecessary. If do want them in a specific order, please picture the item as though you were looking at it in front of you (not wearing it), and as though you were adding the charms from left to right. Count the number of charms, let's say you have 7 and they are going on a necklace. From left to right they would be " Left 1", "Left 2", "Left 3", "Middle", "Right 1", "Right 2", "Right 3".
PUTTING TWO ITEMS ON THE SAME RING:
If you are designing a simple necklace with a large charm and a single bead for example, you might want both items to hang from the same jumpring. This way the bead will always be in the front / top / middle of the charm. Just use the 'Additional Comments' box for the smaller item and say "Please hang this from the same ring as RCH-303", (or whatever charm you are ordering). We don't recommend any more than 2 items be hung from the same jumpring.
